Ms. Sattler obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1993 and has been practicing all phases of itigation since that time. Ms. Sattler is in charge of the firm’s medical malpractice department. Before joining the firm, she spent many years defending medical professionals against malpractice claims. Ms. Sattler has a keen understanding of the law in this specialized field as well as the medical knowledge to successfully prosecute these cases. Since leaving the defense bar, she has obtained numerous malpractice verdicts and/or settlements in the multi-million dollar range. As medical malpractice cases are often vigorusly defended, the firm routinely engages the most highly qualified experts in order to properly support the client's claims and put the necessary pressure on the defendants to obtain the best results.

Ms. Sattler also litigates automoble cases for the firm as well as other well known New York City law firms. She has obtained dozens of verdicts and settlements totalling millions of dolllars in this area of law as well. She is probably best known for ensuring, through tough litigation tactics, that her clients are fairly compensated for their injuries despite the insurance companies' claims that her clients were not "seriously" injured.
